1. Kuat Bicycle Racks: http://www.kuatinnovations.com/ Kuat provided me with the Alpha Rack. I could not be happier with this product.
- It is light – which makes my life easier when installing it.
- It folds up and tilts down for vehicle access.
- It has two locks; one for the hitch, and one cable lock for the bikes – which is hidden in one of the tubes of the racks
- It has four straps per carrier allowing the bike to be firmed and secured during bumpy roads.
2. Action Wipes: http://www.actionwipes.com/ Martha, the creator, provided me with a bunch of single packs
for my trip. I actually used them after a long day of mountain biking, and they are actually awesome. Although they are not as good as a real shower, this guys can clean you up. I really felt fresh, clean, and my skin was smooth; the best part is that you don’t feel sticky after using them – unlike baby wipes. So this product is one of the best choices out there when you can’t shower.
3. Sock Guy: http://sockguy.com/ Very confortable socks for riding. I have tried it many times for my long
days of training, and they really spread the love all over my feet. Besides making my feet comfortable during my ride, at the end of the day they did not have any blisters or burns. They also offer different kinds of cool designs.
4. Harlot Clothing Company: http://www.harlotwear.com/ Even though this company is known for really cool and unique women’s riding
gear, the company has a few items for men. Jennifer Stekette – Harlot’s president and creator- was kind enough to provide me with the Harlot Murray Mountain Bike shorts. They look very durable, they are light, and their best feature is the stretchy interior that gives more room for leg movement while riding. I have to tell you – even though these guys were designed for mountain biking, they could be used
for rock climbing. Their lightweight design and gusseted crotch make these shorts comfortable to wear with a climbing harness.
5. Planet Bike: www.planetbike.com Thanks to their support, I was able
to get a bunch of “need to have” products for my trip. Bike computers, Headlights, Tail lights, Pumps, Repair kits, and gloves are among the products that you can find in this site.
6. Cage Rocket: http://www.cagerocket.com/ A cage rocket is a cool, safe, and convenient way to carry your bike needs while riding. It is just like a seat pack but better! it is water resistant, it can be mounted on the bike
like a water bottle, and it has a foam lining inside that protects its content.
